We have heard some horror stories of repair pricing and intend not to be one of them.With a range of industrial sewing machines we can repair anything from a lycra neck cover to a lorry tarpaulin, in fact the largest sewing machine can sew together three copies of Horse & Hound and is often used to repair
swimming pool covers, pickup truck covers and the like.We have a policy of recycling badly damaged horse rugs, if the material is serviceable, by washing and reproofing the rug if necessary and dismantling it. This enables us to colour match and use the same manufacturer’s material in the repair whenever possible.
Alterations and fitting adjustments are not a problem, i.e. reinforcing the fronts of rugs for those horses who love to forage in Blackthorn hedge rows or play with barbed wire.
Fitting one manufacturers neck or hood to another’s rug also presents little problem. To solve this put the rug and neck on the horse, place some feed on the floor to get the horse to graze and then mark on the rug where the ’D’ rings need to go. We will do the rest for you.
